Dr Goden Mabaya
Dr Mabaya is an agricultural engineer with more than 18 years of experience in agricultural mechanization and water management. He graduated with a Doctorate of Agricultural Science in Water Resources Engineering in 2016 at Kyoto University in Japan, a Master of Science in Hydraulic Engineering (Land and Water Development) in 2012 at IHE Delft Institute of Water Education in Netherlands, and BSc (Honours) Agricultural Engineering in 2003 at University of Zimbabwe. Dr Mabaya joined ZSAES as a Senior Research Agricultural Engineer in 2021 and his research interests include agricultural water management, modernization of irrigation and drainage systems, climate adaptation and proofing of agricultural water systems, sustainable agricultural mechanization, precision agriculture and integrated land and water resources management.
